Just thought a thread should be created where we can list the anime we own.
A list of anime (mainly dvds) that I can bring if you want. Most of these you can find online for free if you know where to look. Some are subbed, some are dubbed/subbed and some of them sadly are pirated subbed. My entire collection is worth around 2,000 to 3,000 dollars. This is what I have right now; just let me know if you want me to bring them on one of the Fridays. A lot of these I found hard to find online. I have more but I'll add them later through editing, am going to sleep now.

Most people tend not to buy too much anime and getting them off the computer is the smart way to go about it. I also do the download, watch, delete and switch but have a limited memory on my laptop. Like I said just email me if anyone wants me to bring in any of the anime to the group meetings. Manga-wise I usually read online (downloaded Death Note) although bought a couple of light novels (ballad of shinigami, shakugan no shana, onegai twins).

Personally, I like to buy the licenced copies of shows that I really enjoy. It just feel like the right thing to do, but then again my list of anime makes that statment hypocritical.

Aye, to be honest I'm usually against downloading licenced anime cause well....but I'll only buy it if I really really enjoyed the series. If not, horray for downloads!

I usually will just buy and hope it is somewhat decent. Certain anime though are worth buying; a majority of the ones I have are not necessarily good but hard to find online. The downloading is usually only for unlicensed anime but sometimes companies over here get the license and withdraw from american market or never get to actually making a release; that is usually when I'll download. If you pay for the licensed it makes the anime market look better over here and as such more anime will make it stateside (at least that's my hope).

I'm sure some anime owns you no matter where you are.

I haven't really done much buying of anime at all, find it too expensive, especially when I am a computer geek so my cash usually goes to more tech toys, especially when many things unlicensed can be found online, though did buy a bit of manga, like the azumanga daioh volumes and some of some other series, I think Negima/Love Hina and some Yotsuba, not too much though. Downloaded/Watched a lot though, though sucked to have my 300G drive crash the day when I came up here, lost some stuff there.

If we are also listing manga then I have a few to add to my list.
Negima vol. 1 (the rest I read online)
Love hina (complete series)
Onegai Twins (2 light novels)
Ballad of the shinigami (light novels 2 maybe 3?)
Shakugan no shana (2 light novels)
Death Note (complete manga compilation)
Bleach (vol. 1-7)
Chrono Crusade (is on my list)
Baccan light novels (bought a japanese version (am in process of learning language) hopefully when the anime comes out it will be popular enough for an English translation.
Devil May Cry (vol.1)
.Hack (light novels 1-2)
Full Metal Panic (light novels 1-2 recently bought not read)
Psychic Academy (vol. 1-4)
That would be all in terms of manga. I was also dead broke for quite a while after buying these. I don't buy manga anymore too expensive and they can be found online anyway (this was before I discovered online manga).
